An Italian Sallet
Circa 1500
Of bright steel, with one-piece rounded skull with low boldly roped comb (small crack), and separate pointed tail-plate (patched at the tip) with wide recessed border, the skull and tail-plate bordered by a row of lining-holes (the surface rust pitted, probably originally fitted with a low brow-plate)
