The hood with flat top and outset turned columns, with architectural arch top trunk door flanked by chamfered sides, on plain plinth with bracket feet, the 11¾in. (30cm.) square white dial with spandrels painted with ships and fishing boats, with subsidiary seconds ring to the centre signed Bedford Kingham, the four pillar rack striking movement with anchor escapement -- 75in. (190.5cm.) high
