Album containing 199 cartes-de-visite, five hand-tinted, the majority with photographer's printed credit on verso, a few re-mounted on modern archival card, loosely mounted in pre-cut window mounts with gilt borders, identified and the majority with Silvy's studio reference numbers in pencil in a later hand on mounts, lined in olive green silk, brown morocco spine and lower cover decorated in blind, front panel of coromandel with decorative gilt metal corner pieces and central oval Jasper-ware medallion in metal mount depicting a female figure holding an urn, two gilt metal clasps (one broken), g.e., lge. 4to.; with six cartes including five hand-tinted, loosely inserted.
