with flowerspray finial and three short feet, painted and gilt with panels of ladies and children at leisure in flower strewn gardens of peonies, wisteria, chrysanthemums and bamboo, alternating with further panels of river landscape scenes, all on a geometric and floral ground -- 6¼in. (15.8cm.) high, signed Kinkozan zo; and a squat kogo and cover with officials in an interior above a band of blossoming trees and peonies issuing from rockwork -- 3¼in. (8.2cm.) wide, signed Satsuma, wood stands, (minor gilt and enamel rubbing).
