With three-stage turn-off cannon barrel, scroll engraved tang, signed border engraved lock engraved with foliage on the cock and tail, walnut butt (repaired), brass mounts, trophy of arms side-plate, grotesque mask pommel, engraved trigger-guard and fore-end plate, and associated foliate escutcheon engraved with a square and compass (some wear and surface pitting), Birmingham proof marks
