With browned 29 in. (73.7 cm.) twist sighted barrels, case-hardened engraved patent breeches each with platinum-inlaid line and pierced platinum plug, scroll engraved tang and bolted locks, well figured walnut half-stock, engraved mounts including trigger-guard and butt-plate each engraved with a vignette of a stag, ramrod serial numbered to the rifle, and much original case-hardened and blued finish throughout, London proof marks
