The engraved case with ribbon mounts and on paw feet, the sides inset with royal blue enamel oval panels decorated in gilt with flowering urns, with solid rear door inscribed Le Roy horloger du Roy a Paris 13 et 15 Galerie Montpensier Palais-Royal, the circular and convex white enamel Arabic dial with royal blue and gilt border and repeat signature, gilt hands, the single barrel movement with platform lever escapement and inscribed number on the back plate No.15568, with repeat number punched to the underside of the case; with gilt-tooled brown leather travel case
