The case with handle to inverted bell top, glazed side panels, with silk backed fish scale quarter frets above th front door with chamfered angles, on block feet, the dial with mask and foliate spandrels to the silvered chapter ring with matted centre, date aperture, with strike/silent ring in the arch, the five pillar twin fusee movement with anchor escapement, the movement possibly Continental -- 17¾in. (45.5cm.) high
