A PAIR OF FLEMISH HALF-GREAVES
One circa 1560
The plate for the right leg boxed over the full length of the front, with plain unturned edges, the lower edge arched over the foot and finished with a roped turn, fitted with later turning-pin and a later pair of straps and buckles, the plate for the left leg of slightly heavier construction and intended to match.
