A Siena large dish
Circa 1745, probably Ferdinando Maria Campani
Painted with a youth holding a palm frond and seated on a rock surrounded by the Three Fates, Clotho, Lachesis and Atropos before buildings, trees and distant mountains, within a manganese line and ochre rim (shallow chip to rim at 3 o'clock, slight flaking to rim)
12¾ in. (32.3 cm.) diam.
