A Weesp two-handled tureen, cover and two-handled stand
Circa 1765, tureen with incised ,:, mark, cover with blue crossed swords and dot mark, stand with two blue crossed swords and dot marks and incised 2w
The tureen of compressed oval bombé form with foliage double C-scroll handles, the spirally-incised ground of each reserved with foliage scroll-moulded cartouches within ozier-moulded borders, the cover and stand applied with shells and painted with flower-sprays, the tureen sides and stand centre painted with vignettes of figures in landscapes, the shallow domed cover with artichoke finial (finial broken off and restuck, stand with minute chip to each handle)
