With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with Breguet numerals in 1909 and its subsequent sale on 1916. The extract further confirms the watch was issued a Geneva Observatory rating certificate on November 20th, 1912.

According to our research the present watch received honourable prize in 1912 with 712 of 832 points, making it 45th in its category. It also received a Kew Observatory rating in January 1913 of 91.0 of an impossible 100 marks, making it 32nd overall. The watch was tested from 1st December 1912 through January 14th 1913 and received an A certificate, especially good.

It is interesting to note that this watch was submitted for competition by Audemars Piguet on behalf of Patek Philippe. The majority of Patek's watches submitted to Kew were done so by Audemars Piguet possibly acting as their London agents at the time.
