(15 7/8in.) wide; a lacquered-brass clinometer stamped CLINOMETER LARGE 1916 No 2690 with War Department arrow, and SIEMENS BROTHERS & Co LTD LONDON in a shaped mahogany case, the lid stamped E.R. WATTS & SON LONDON 22973 1941 -- 27.5cm. (10 7/8in.) wide; and a brass sighting level engraved F. Robson 45, DEAN ST Newcastle on Tyne , the telescope with bubble level, ray-shade and dust-cover to the objective, rack and pinion focusing to the eyepiece, on a tripod mounting incorporating four adjustable screw feet, in a fitted mahogany case with an attractive label in the lid (somewhat torn) for T.B.
