TWO SMALL GLASS SNUFF BOTTLES
1770-1900
The first, a translucent white-glass bottle, 1850-1900, is carved on either side through the yellow, pale green, pink, green, red and blue overlays with a central shou medallion between a bat emblem above and below. The narrow sides are decorated with a transparent glass mask. The second, 1770-1840, is carved through the transparent red overlay on either side with a Buddhist lion looking up at a bat.
2 5/8 and 1 5/8 in. (6.7 and 4 cm.) high, glass stoppers
