A RARE GERMAN 10-BORE FLINTLOCK MILITARY MUSKET
LATE 17TH / EARLY 18TH CENTURY
With octagonal to round barrel (fore-sight missing) with slightly flared muzzle and struck with a maker's mark of a dagger (similar to Neue Støckel 4917), flat bevelled lock with dog-catch and struck with a maker's mark 'GS' beneath the pan and numbered '3' on the tail, walnut full stock, plain iron mounts, and blackened wooden ramrod (some light corrosion marking to iron parts throughout)
