The canted rectangular top with moulded edge and gilt-tooled leather inset above two frieze drawers opposed by false drawers on chanelled scrolled rosette-carved legs with paw feet, the left side of right drawer inscribed A Ryan 34th Regt. Augst.(?) 7 1850, the handles replaced
