The Artist’s Journey: Masters of Impressionism

Christie’s is proud to present The Artist’s Journey: Masters of Impressionism – a private selling exhibition featuring art by leading European and American Impressionists. Anchored with quintessential examples by Edgar Degas, Mary Cassatt, Pierre Bonnard, John Singer Sargent and Childe Hassam, the exhibition will showcase each artist throughout their creative and often physical journeys as they sought to render innovative depictions of a rapidly modernizing world. The exhibition will be open alongside important Impressionism from The Ann and Gordon Getty Collection including Mary Cassatt, Edouard Manet and Claude Monet.
