In export porcelain for the Compagnie des Indes, China, famille rose, mid-18th century and chased and gilt bronze mount, the removable lid topped with a burst seed, the handles with foliate scrolls centred on rabbit heads, the body decorated with bunches of polychrome flowers, on an openwork base with acanthus leaves
