Muhammad b. 'Abdullah al-'Aquli al-Baghdadi (d. AH 797/1395 AD) at the Madrasah al-Mustansaria and dated 770, contemporary brown morocco binding with tooled central medallion and border (scuffed, some wear and damages to edges), plain brown morocco doublures

The scribe, Muhammad b. Muhammad b. 'Abdullah b. Muhammad b. 'Ali b. Hamad b. Thabit al-Wasiti al-Bahgdadi, known as Ibn Aquli, was born in AH 733/1323 AD and was a was a student at the Madrasa al-Mustansaria in Baghdad. He wrote on many subjects including fiqh and grammar and died in Baghdad in AH 797/1395.

This book was copied duing the lifetime of the author, who may have seen and corrected this copy.
