佳士得中國書畫部呈獻十一世紀至今的中國書畫傑作，涵蓋古代、近現代及當代水墨，匯聚蘇軾（1037-1101）、文徵明（1470-1559）、張大千（1899-1983）、傅抱石（1904-1965）及劉國松（1932年生）等藝術大師的稀世鉅作。

從剛勁有力的書法作品，到細膩生動的水墨山水，拍品涵括多元藝��主題，為藏家及鑑賞家提供購藏心頭好的良機，從中細味中國書畫藝術的悠久歷史傳統。佳士得曾拍賣多件重要藝術珍品，包括蘇軾的墨寶《木石圖》，作品以港元4.366億/美元5,950萬成交，成為佳士得亞洲拍賣史上最高成交價作品。張大千的《碧峰古寺》亦由佳士得以港元2.091億/美元2,700萬拍出，創下藝術家作品成交價第二高的紀錄，而傅抱石的傑作《琵琶行》亦於專場拍賣中創下港元2.048億/美元2,630萬的耀眼佳績。

此外，佳士得亦幸獲多位私人藏家和多間知名博物館委託拍賣，例如來自藤田美術館藏的陳容《六龍圖》便以美元4,900萬高價成交，超逾拍前低估價40倍之多；澄懷堂美術館珍藏則悉數拍出，成交總額超逾拍前估價5倍之多。這些輝煌佳績印證佳士得將全球大型重要珍藏帶到拍場的成功佳績。

Kim Yu joined Christie’s Taiwan in 1998 and is currently based in Hong Kong.

He began studying traditional Chinese painting at the age of 15 in Taiwan as an apprentice, training under Sun Yunsheng, a pupil of the 20th-century master Zhang Daqian. Kim is widely recognized in the industry as a leading authority on Classical Chinese painting.

A key business getter for the Chinese Paintings Department, Kim works closely with collectors across Mainland China, Taiwan, Japan, Southeast Asia, and the Americas, advising on acquisitions and sales. Over his distinguished career of more than two decades at Christie’s, he has led numerous landmark transactions. In 2018, he oversaw the historic sale of the Yuan dynasty masterpiece Wood and Rock by Su Shi (1037–1101), which realized HK$463,600,000 and became the most expensive Chinese painting ever sold in Asia. He has also played a pivotal role in the successful sales of major private and institutional collections - most notably the Fujita Museum Collection and the Chokaido Collection from Japan. In 2025, the department achieved another milestone with the sale of River Pavilion, Mountain Colours by Ni Zan (1301–1374), which sold for HK$159,950,000.

Kim has held several senior leadership roles within the department, including International Specialist Head of Chinese Paintings and Head of Department. Since 2023, he has served as Chairman of Chinese Paintings. In his current role, he focuses on cultivating relationships with the department’s most important clients and continues to drive business development at the highest level.

A native of Taiwan, Kim is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English.

Carmen Shek Cerne serves as Head of Department and Senior Specialist in the Chinese Paintings Department in Hong Kong. She joined Christie's in 2009 as part of the Associate Specialist Training Program. As part of the team Carmen focuses on client advisory and business getting in Hong Kong and overseas; she is also responsible for research and catalogue production. Prior to joining Christie's Carmen was Assistant Curator at the Hong Kong Maritime Museum at the time when the museum first opened its doors to the public in 2005. Carmen has lived in Italy and the UK, and she graduated from University College London with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Ancient History and Social Anthropology.

Dr Man Kung is a senior specialist and Associate VP of the Chinese Paintings Department at Christie's Hong Kong. He holds a BA and MA from National Chung Cheng University, Taiwan, and a PhD from Nankai University, PRC. His research covers Chinese literature history, philology, guqin studies, and art history. He has authored several works, including Studies and Documentation of Novels (literal translation of 小說考索與文獻鉤沈), A Chronicle of Pu Hsin-yu (溥心畬年譜), and Manuscripts, Drafts, Sketches, and Teaching Materials of Han Yu Tang (誰會王孫意：安和藏溥心畬課藝手稿), and has published about 70 academic papers.

Yorkie Tam is a Specialist and Associate Vice President in the Chinese Paintings Department at Christie's Hong Kong. He holds a Master of Art degree in East Asian Language and Culture with a focus in Chinese history from Columbia University. Yorkie started as an administrator and since his promotion to a specialist role in 2016, he assumes responsibility for business getting, both auction and online sale catalogue research and production, exhibition design and client advisory. He is also a guest lecturer of the diploma course in Chinese Calligraphy and Chinese Painting Studies at HKU Space.

Sophia Zhou is a Specialist in the Chinese Paintings department in New York. Since joining Christie’s in 2014, Sophia works closely with collectors, institutions and estates across the United States to appraise and advise on acquisitions of Chinese paintings and calligraphy. Sophia began her career with Christie’s in Hong Kong. A key essay writer in both English and Chinese, she contributed to the record-breaking sales of Fu Baoshi’s Song of the Pipa Player (HK$204,850,000 / US$26,370,948) in 2017 and Temple at the Mountain Peak by Zhang Daqian (HK$209,100,000 / US$27,062,468) in 2021. Sophia was also instrumental in the landmark sale of Wood and Rock by Su Shi in 2018 which achieved HK$463,600,000 / US$59,505,898, the most expensive object ever sold by Christie’s in Asia. Since relocating to New York in 2020, Sophia has brought to market the personal collection of Zhang Xinjia, the niece of Zhang Daqian, and the esteemed Ye Gongchuo Family Collection. Sophia holds a B.A. in History of Art with First-Class Honours from University College London and an M.A. in History of Art with Distinction from the Courtauld Institute of Art in London, with a concentration on post-war European and Chinese art history. Sophia is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

Michael Xie is a specialist in the Chinese Paintings department at the Christie's office in Beijing, and is responsible for assisting in consignment-getting, appraisals, exhibitions, and sales. Mr. Xie has many years of practical experience in the appraisal of both classical and modern Chinese paintings prior to joining Christie's in 2013. Mr. Xie began his career at Sungari International in 2001, became manager of the Chinese Paintings department at Beijing Tranthy International in 2004, and in 2008 both gained his credentials as a registered auctioneer in China and joined Forever Christie's, where he was later promoted to department head of Chinese Paintings.
