For more than 50 years, Patricia G. Ross Weis and Robert F. Weis assembled a collection that reflected not only the evolution of modernism, but the life they shared. Guided by a mutual passion for learning and intellectual rigour, they sought the finest works by Rothko, Picasso, Matisse, Mondrian and Miró, among other 20th-century icons. The result is a collection rich with dialogue — between movements, across continents and through time. The Collection of Robert F. and Patricia G. Ross Weis embodies a lifetime of discovery and an enduring legacy, celebrated this November during our 20th and 21st Century Art auctions in New York.
