Christie’s Graduate Training Programme has recently been refreshed to better reflect the evolving needs of our global business and the aspirations of talented graduates. Below you’ll find details of the updated programme, designed to provide an exceptional foundation for a career at Christie’s.
Overview
Our Graduate Training Programme is a dynamic, 12-month experience created to nurture high-potential graduates and prepare them for impactful careers within Christie’s. Successful candidates will undertake three tailored rotational placements, each aligned to their interests and Christie’s strategic needs. The programme offers a competitive salary, regular feedback, and dedicated mentoring from experienced leaders, ensuring graduates develop advanced commercial awareness and specialist skills. Top performers will be offered a further 6-month fixed-term contract in a specific department, positioning them for permanent roles and long-term career progression at Christie’s.
Programme structure
- Four personalised rotations across specialist and support departments, designed to broaden skills and business understanding.
- Regular feedback sessions, mentoring, and cohort-based onboarding and development workshops.
- Each rotation concludes with a formal performance review.
- Graduates join a supportive cohort, fostering relationships and collaboration across Christie’s.
- At the end of the programme, outstanding graduates may progress to a fixed-term contract aligned to a single department.
The locations
The Graduate Training Programme is available in our London, New York and Hong Kong. Numbers may vary by location, but typically two graduates are selected for London and New York, and one or two for Hong Kong.

- The process includes online application and CV screening, video interviews with competency-based questions, situational judgement and values-based assessments, and an assessment centre with group exercises and written tasks.
- Final interviews are conducted with departmental leadership.
- Selection is based on alignment with Christie’s values, adaptability, and potential for long-term contribution.
- Regional nuances may apply, ensuring local business needs and cultural contexts are considered.
Eligibility and Sponsorship
Applicants may apply for more than one region. Please note, due to local immigration regulations, Christie’s cannot sponsor visa applications for the training programme in London or New York. Please contact graduateprogramme@christies.com with any queries.
