Christie’s is honoured to present “Iconic Wines from Joseph Lau Part II”, which will be offered at a live auction on 25 November at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Following the success of “Iconic Wines from Joseph Lau” in April, this Part II auction, comprises 106 lots with an estimated total value exceeding HK$25million/ US$3.2 million, will offer another precious opportunity for connoisseurs to acquire the finest bottles from the esteemed entrepreneur and distinguished wine collector.
The celebrated collection features another group of gems by Henri Jayer, mostly acquired from Christie’s "The Private Cellar of Henri Jayer" auction in 2012, such as Cros Parantoux available in multiple vintages from 1990s to 2001. Domaine de la Romanée-Conti is represented by Romanée-Conti from 1990s and Montrachet from 9 vintages between 1988 and 2003; Bordeaux highlights include the best vintages between 1980s and 2000s by legendary estates such as Lafite, Latour, Margaux and Mouton, as well as Le Pin, Pétrus, and Cheval Blanc.
To commemorate this auction, each bottle of wine from this sale will have a specially designed sticker on the back of the bottle. Join us in celebrating these truly legendary wines and the iconic cellar they come from!
