Jakob Angner is an Associate Vice President and Specialist in Impressionist & Modern Art at Christie’s New York. Active in the international art market since 2014, he has held roles across leading galleries and auction houses in London before joining Christie’s in 2018. In 2023, Jakob transferred to Christie’s New York where he now heads the Impressionist & Modern Works on Paper sale and plays a key role in business development and client engagement, providing tailored appraisals and strategic guidance on the market for 20th and 21st Century Art. He studied History of Art at Uppsala University and holds a BA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Warwick. He is fluent in English and Swedish.
