Every generation has its artists. Every so often, they change the way we see the world.
This November, our visions expand once more as the 20th and 21st Century Art auctions trace a century of artistic invention, bringing together works by Gustav Klimt, Wassily Kandinsky, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Claude Monet, Andy Warhol and other defining figures of modern and contemporary art. The season is led by six singular collecting stories: The Collection of Clive Davis, The Antonio Homem Sonnabend Collection, Herbert Lust: Collector, Scholar, Friend, Heroes & Lovers: Property of a Distinguished Collector, The William I. Koch Collection and The Collection of Agnes Gund: Sold to Benefit the Gund Art Foundation.
