André Zlattinger has been in the auction world for more than 15 years and has recently joined Christie's from another leading auction house, where he was a Senior Director in the British Art department. He has over the years specialised primarily in British Art and Scottish pictures, where he has been instrumental in developing the Scottish Colourist market over the years. He has been responsible for numerous auction records for artists such as Anne Redpath, Joan Eardley, Samuel John Peploe, Francis Campbell Boileau Cadell and George Leslie Hunter.
André has written extensively for publications on British paintings and is currently working on a book about John Duncan Fergusson. He has been involved with a number of land mark sales in 20th Century British and Irish Art amongst them the collection of Lord and Lady Attenborough and more recently the Selwyn Demmy collection of works by L.S. Lowry.
