Howard Dixon began his career at Christie's in 1996 as a Junior Specialist in the Arms & Armour department. In 2000 he became a Range Supervisor for the National Rifle Association based at Bisley Camp in Surrey whilst continuing to catalogue modern rifles and pistols as well as antique arms for another London-based auction house, where, in 2004, he took a full time position as a Senior Specialist. Howard returned to Christie's in 2010 and brings with him extensive experience in business getting and client contacts in this field.
