of waisted form, the cover and body with pierced rims, moulded with four masks and supported on four paw feet above a pinched square base with canted corners, painted and gilt in an Oriental palette with panels of flowers on a black ground below demi flowerheads, iron-red crossed batons mark, painted 28, circa 1830, Robt. Bloor & Co. (some rubbing to gilt and light staining) -- 16cm. high
