The triangular tripartite blade issuing from the jaws of a makara with sinuous horns and curly mane, the central section in the form of a vajra between 'endless knots' with a further prong in the form of an iron armature running through, surmounted by the three-headed Hayagriva with a ferocious expression with bulging eyes beneath furled brows and skull tiaras, the horse head forming the finial, richly gilt with some wear to the central section of vajra
