2 (380 x 245mm). Engraved title, 10 engraved double-page maps printed from 11 plates, 2 folding maps, large folding plan of Jerusalem (2 maps slightly shaved, occasional slight dampstain in outer margin). 19th-century half calf (worn).
Probably the FIRST EDITION. Adams lists several editions with the same collation, the present copy obviously being the first. Adams calls for only 11 maps, undoubtedly with the two maps still on one plate, and not, as in the present copy, separated for insertion at the appropriate place. The large folding plan of Jerusalem is in fine condition.
