Well carved around the sides in thread relief with a band of taotie masks and on the flared, pedestal foot with a band of dragon scroll, with several small chilong carved in high relief crawling across a band of archaistic bird and dragon scroll below the rim, the handle at one end formed by a tangle of one large and several smaller dragons clambering to the key-pattern-carved rim, restored rim chip--6 3/8in. (16.2cm.) long
