EIGHT CYPRIOT BLACK POLISHED WARE VESSELS WITH INCISED DECORATION
EARLY/MIDDLE BRONZE AGE, 2000-1725 B.C.
Comprising a small hemispherical bowl, with single pierced lug on the rim, decorated with incised geometric motifs, the incised lines with white infill, 3½ in. (9 cm.) diam.; two other bowls similar, repaired with restoration, 4¼ in. (10.8 cm.) diam. av.; a jug with spherical base, the cylindrical neck with everted rim, single handle, with concentric circle incised decoration, repaired with restoration, 4 7/8 in. (12.4 cm.) high; a 'feeder bottle' with flattened base, the cylindrical body tapered to small spout, single pierced lug on the neck; another similar, with more rounded body, both repaired with restoration, 4 3/8 in. (11.1 cm.) high max.; and two miniature bottles, each with pierced lug, 2¼ in. (5.6 cm.) high av. (8)
