The Battle of Bunker Hill, a painted fan commemorating the battle with a caricature of a lady in wearing a high hairstyle decorated with the battle scene, to the left the battle and the right an English ship, the reserves painted with butterflies, the verso with a landscape vignette, the ivory sticks carved and pierced with chinoiserie figures with telescopes and painted with butterflies - 10in. (26cm.), 1776 (old repairs to two sticks and one cracked)
