A well engineered late 19th-century model twin cylinder horizontal mill engine,
with wood lagged cylinders 2in. bore x 3¼in. stroke, overhead centrally mounted valve chests with inlet pipe, cylinder head drain cocks, studded stuffing boxes, pedestral mounted crosshead slides, forked, barrelled connecting rods with gibbed and cottered big and little ends, lift-off eccentric rods, three bearing crankshaft and spoked flywheel, finished in green and polished brightwork, wood base -- 28 x 63.5cm. (11 x 25in.)
