A well engineered 2½in. gauge model of the SR Lord Nelson Class 4-6-0 locomotive and tender "Lord Howe",
built by L. G. Warner, with brazed superheated blued-steel clad copper boiler with fittings including water and pressure gauges, safety, blower, injector, whistle and clack valves. Chassis details include four cylinders with independant sets of Walschaert's valve gear, dummy cylinder drains, twin eccentric driven feed pumps and pipework, working leaf springs and other details. Tender details include twin four wheel bogies, dummy tool boxes and vacuum tanks, steps and hand irons, unpainted (some evidence of rust and some work will be necessary to finish this model) -- 19.5 x 101cm. (7¾ x 39¾in.)
