A LATE MING LARGE BLUE AND WHITE BOWL MADE FOR THE ISLAMIC MARKET, 16TH CENTURY
Decorated to the outside with a continuous scene of peacocks in a landscape amongst peony branches and peaches, above lappets and below stylised clouds, to the interior with a qilin looking at the moon, the rim with a geometrical pattern alternating with flying cranes in shaped cartouches, underglaze blue Fu Gui Jia Qi mark to base - 14¾in (37.4cm) diameter
