The domed circular base with strapwork border and applied masks, supports the tapering stem, capped with four busts, the reeded branches each issuing from lion's mask, each with spool-shaped socket and circular wax-pan, with further central socket, engraved with a crest, marked on foot, on each socket and on each wax-pan
