Two mid 17th Century apostle spoons,
the first a Provincial example, the terminal bearing traces of gilding, the fig-shaped bowl pricked with initials and with a short rat-tail, the interior of the bowl later-engraved with a crest, possibly Newport circa 1640, the second a London example, the later-gilt bowl later-engraved with an initial with coronet.
