Maker's mark of Jan Buysen, Amsterdam, 1788
On four tapering fluted feet terminating in panelled flower-heads, the shaped oval body pierced with two oval bands with in between a band of larger ovals surmounted by flower-heads and with applied garland swags supporting ribbon-tied medallions with portrait busts, the handles, upper and lower rim decorated with applied beading
