Signed "Lettick" l.r.
Oil on gessoed board
18.5 x 27.5 in.
It has been said that sex and politics make strange bed-fellows. Broaden that concept to pair up a couple of cops, one straight (pretending to be gay,) and one gay (trying to act straight,) you truly have strange patrol-fellows. That's wonderfully conveyed by the expressions on their faces in this satirical Lettick final One-Sheet art. (Agency: Spiros Associates).
Movie starred: John Hurt, Ryan O'Neal, Kenneth McMillan, Robyn Douglass, Jay Robinson. Directed by James Burrows.

This painting has been revised: Ryan O'Neal is wearing a cop's uniform instead of a red tank top.
