The vase-shaped case with elongated neck cast with a drapped female with a whispering winged cherub, an acanthus scroll finial above, the body flanked by mask mounted scrolling side handles, waisted fluted socle on a shaped base, the edges cast with a frieze of medallions, scrolling strap-work above dragon paw side feet, medallions cast to the front and reverse depicting bas-relief figures, flanked by rams heads, the dial cast with cherubs, the enamel chapters with Roman hours, pierced hands, the twin barrel movement and countwheel strike on bell
