The letters are signed by eminent persons, mostly French, also Italian, Portuguese, German and Austrian, including Prince and Princess Salm Dyck, Eusebio Salverte, Simon van Slingeland (Grand Pensionary of Holland), Count Horace Sebastiani (general and diplomat) and others including ministers, officials, diplomats, deputies, editors etc., generally on official matters. Apparently one volume from a large collection probably assembled in England.
