The wedding, the leaf painted with a central couple in an elegant room, surrounded by mischievous putti, some dressed in frock coat and hat, one conducting and others playing instruments, one to the right leaning over the wedding banquet with a carriage waiting nearby, the verso with ladies washing clothes near a water mill with the signature Provost, the mother of pearl sticks carved, pierced and gilt with ladies and putti, in the manner of Donzel--11¾in. (30cm.), circa 1885
