如何委托拍卖

Mark of John Sutton, London, 1702
Each slightly tapering cylindrical on circular rim foot, with reeded border and mid-rib, and scroll handle, the front engraved 'Independent Meeting GLOUCESTER', each marked on side
4in. (10cm.) high
29oz. (929gr.) (4)

Anonymous sale [G. M. Aldridge Esq.]; Christie's London, 24 January 1923, lot 98 (£74 to Victor)

专家说明

No record can be found of a race-meeting at Gloucester at this time. It is possible that these mugs were for a political or religious, possibly Quaker, society meeting.
