Château d'Yquem--Vintage 1975
Sauternes, 1er grand cru classé
Levels: four into neck, seven bottom neck and one top shoulder; one protruding cork, two damp stained labels, lightly torn labels
"Amber-golden with copper tones, this is said to have
aged in two sets of new barrels. Today, its oakiness is well-integrated, the wine being powerfully structured and densely flavoured, with enormous richness and potential. A great Yquem, far from having reached its peak." AH
1 dozen bottles per lot
