1750-1820

专家说明

The combination of a woman weaving and a farmer tilling his field symbolizes peace within the empire.

For two similar red overlays from the same school in The Victoria and Albert Museum, from the 1910 Salting Bequest, see H. White, Snuff Bottles from China, London, 1992, pl. 82, nos. 1 and 2.
