Masseto--Vintage 2001
Tuscany, Tenuta dell'Ornellaia
In individual original wooden cases
Wow ! The '01 Masseto shows a super-rich black fruit character, but also a great density of both aroma on the nose and texture on the palate. Very tannic, really solid, and very long. New World in style, but very impressive on any level. CC, February 2009
