A Meissen hausmalerei teabowl and saucer
Circa 1725, the decoration slightly later
Decorated in Eisenrot at Augsburg, with wooded landscapes, the teabowl with three foxes in a cave and a hound nearby, the saucer with a mounted falconer and sportsmen setting a trap, the interior of the teabowl and the border of the saucer richly gilt (chip to rim of teabowl and saucer, gilding to upper side of saucer rubbed, some rubbing to rims of teabowl) (2)
