Gemma Sudlow has over 11 years of experience at Christie’s specializing in the management and selling of Private and Iconic Single Owner Collection sales. Formerly at Christie’s in London, Ms. Sudlow oversaw a number of landmark collection sales including the three-day country house sale of Cowdray Park, West Sussex, 2011, Collecting in the Royal Tradition: Harewood House, 2012 and A Life’s Devotion: The Collection of Mrs. T. S. Eliot, 2013. Since moving to New York she has worked on The Clark Family Treasures, 2014, The Collection of Robert Hatfield Ellsworth, 2015, The Private Collection of President and Mrs. Ronald Reagan, 2016, and The Collection of Paul F. Walter, 2017 amongst others. She holds an MA in the History of Art from the University of Edinburgh. She became an auctioneer for Christie’s in 2012 and sells across a variety of categories including Chinese Works of Art, Furniture, Decorative Arts and Post-War and Contemporary Art.
