    Zita is Head of Estates, Appraisals & Valuations and Private & Iconic Collections, having joined Christie’s in 2007 following an MA in Classics at Trinity College, Oxford University and an MA at the Courtauld Institute of Art. She has orchestrated and overseen many multi-category proposals, pitches and collection sales, acting as the main liaison between vendors and the business throughout the valuation and sale process.

    Amelia Walker is a Director of Christie’s and Specialist Head of the Private & Iconic Collections department, with over 18 years of experience in the organisation and sale of multi-category private, iconic and country house collections. Since joining in 2006, Christie's has sold countless Iconic, Royal, Aristocratic and Connoisseur collections including those of Mark Knopfler, The Princess Margaret, the Earl Spencer, Sting, Audrey Hepburn, Margaret Thatcher, Roger Federer, Charlie Watts, the Rothschild family, and many more. Amelia is interested in all aspects of collecting, both ‘fine’ and decorative art, from antiquity to the contemporary and has had privileged access to some of the world's most wonderful works of art. She loves nothing more than meeting collectors, researching and valuing their collections and unearthing the provenance and story behind each object, picture, or piece of memorabilia.

    A Director of the Private Collections and Country House Sales department, Adrian specialises in furniture and works of art. Since joining the department in 2010 Adrian has been responsible for a number of notable collection sales including: Harewood, Collecting in the Royal Tradition, The Collection of Professor Sir Albert Richardson, and Works of Art from the Collection of the Marquesses of Londonderry as well as orchestrating the sales of the personal collections of Margaret Thatcher and Audrey Hepburn. Training as an auctioneer at the age of twenty-one, Adrian initially worked at Tennant’s Auctioneers in his native North Yorkshire before moving to Bonham’s in 2003 and joining Christie’s in 2009. With a particularly strong interest in all types of English furniture and works of art, Adrian sits on the Council of the Furniture History Society as well as on the Selection Committee for the Attingham Summer School. Adrian also has a strong interest in Architectural history.

    Charlotte joined Christie’s in 2008 after graduating from the University of Bristol with an BA in History. She began her career as a furniture specialist at Christie’s South Kensington, before moving to Private Collections in January 2014 where she has been responsible for, and contributed to a wide variety of collection sales. Highlights have been the superb collection of French furniture offered in Tastes of the Royal Court (2015) which included a record-breaking fauteuil en bergere supplied to Queen Marie Antoinette; Queen Anne’s Gate: Works from the Art Collection of Sting and Trudie Styler (2016); and more recently working with the internationally acclaimed interior designer Michael Smith on the sales ‘Rooms as Portraits’ (2018).
    
    Whilst her main interest remains English and European furniture and works of art and the interiors in which they sit, she relishes the opportunity that Collection sales offer to learn about collecting fields beyond the traditional Decorative Arts and to see the juxtapositions each collector creates between differing fields within their own collections.

    Benedict joined Christie’s in 2015 following a degree in History of Art at the University of York, and previous experience at several London galleries, the National Trust and a New York art advisory. Previously part of the Interiors department, he re-joined the Private Collections department in 2020. Benedict has handled many private collections in Interiors including Property from Faringdon House, Oxfordshire, the Collection of the Late Mrs Marcella Rossi, Property from the Collection of the late Leonard and Roxanne Rosoman. He has also overseen several single owner sales including Seward Kennedy’s Cabinet of Curiosities in 2016 and Peter Petrou: Tales of the Unexpected in 2019, as well as assisting on Iconic sales such as the Margaret Thatcher, Audrey Hepburn and Raine, Countess Spencer auctions.

    Elizabeth is a Specialist in the Private & Iconic Collections department. With extensive experience as a Picture Specialist across many categories and at all levels of the market, she first joined Christie’s in 2012. Initially in the Modern British & Irish Art department, in 2013 she became Junior Specialist in 20th Century Decorative Art & Design at Christie’s South Kensington. Following a seven-year period spent working as a Picture Specialist at Roseberys, and later Portland Gallery, she re-joined Christie’s in 2021. Elizabeth holds a First Class Honours degree in History of Art from the University of Manchester and a MA from Courtauld Institute of Art.

    Venetia joined Christie’s in 2021 having previously worked at The Althorp Estate, The Peggy Guggenheim Collection, and The British Museum. Venetia has worked in Private & Iconic Collections since 2022, during which time she has handled a number of notable iconic single-owner collection sales, including Sixty Years of James Bond, Charlie Watts: Gentleman, Collector, Rolling Stone, and The Mark Knopfler Guitar Collection.
    
    Venetia holds a joint Bachelor’s degree in History and Art History from Newcastle University and a Master’s degree in History of Art from University College London.

    Olivia joined Christie’s in 2022 as a Sale Coordinator in the Private & Iconic Collections department, also becoming a Cataloguer for the department in 2023. Olivia has handled a number of notable single owner collection sales, including The Robin and Rupert Hambro Collection, Ancient to Modern Art from the Mougins Museum of Classical Art and The Pattie Boyd Collection.
    
    Olivia holds a Masters Degree in Art Business at the Sotheby’s Institute of Art.

    Elizabeth Seigel is a Vice President, Specialist, Head of Private and Iconic Collections in New York. She joined Christie’s King Street in 2011, and in 2012 moved to New York as a specialist across Decorative Arts, focusing on English and European furniture, tapestries, porcelain and 19th century decorative arts. Since joining the Private and Iconic Collections team in 2015 she has helped to coordinate the landmark collections of Robert Hatfield Ellsworth, President and Mrs. Ronald Reagan, Betsy Bloomingdale, Joan Rivers, Peggy and David Rockefeller, Jayne Wrightsman and Andre Leon Talley. Additionally, she has headed successful single owner sports memorabilia sales, such as Selections from the Geddy Lee Collection and Important Baseball Memorabilia. Liz recently helped guide The Ann and Gordon Getty Collection, a suite multiple cross-category sales, which garnered over $200 million for philanthropy and Rothschild Masterpieces, which tripled its low estimate raising over $60 million.
    
    Liz graduated from Cornell University magna cum laude, and received her Master of Letters with distinction from Christie’s Education, London.

    Nathalie Ferneau is a junior specialist in the Private and Iconic collections department. She has contributed to landmark collection sales such as The Collection of Mr. & Mrs. John H. Gutfreund (2021), La Reverie: The Collection of Sydell Miller (2021) and most recently The Ann and Gordon Getty Collection (2022). Nathalie has also been a part of exciting Iconic sales such as Extra Innings: A Private Collection of Important Baseball Memorabilia (2021) and The Collection of Nile Rodgers (2021).
    
    Prior to joining the Private and Iconic team, Nathalie worked in the Christie’s Antiquities department. She holds a BA in Classical Archaeology from Dartmouth College.

    Jill Waddell joined Christie’s, New York in the summer of 2016. She began her career in silver at Sotheby’s, New York in early 2005 where she was an Assistant Vice President and later served as Director at an auction house in Chicago, IL. Jill specializes in American, English and Continental dating from the 16th to 21st centuries and has been involved in the sales of many prestigious single-owner collections including the collections of David Rockefeller and Ann and Gordon Getty. Throughout her career, Jill has achieved numerous record-breaking prices including the top two lots of American silver ever sold at auction, the highest price achieved for silver by Paul Revere Jr., the highest price for a lot of American mixed-metals and the highest prices for a silver lot sold at Christie’s, New York. She received a BS from the University of Michigan and earned a MA in the History of Decorative Arts and Design from the Smithsonian/Cooper Hewitt Museum program, with a concentration in 17th and 18th century English silver.

    Since joining Christie’s in 2018, Julia Jones has been instrumental in the successful sale of works of important American furniture and paintings, Outsider art and Decorative arts. Julia has worked on landmark sales such as the Collection of Anne and Gordon Getty, La Rêverie: The Collection of Sydell Miller and the Collection of Henry Ford II. She oversaw the white glove sale of High Style in Highland Park: The Collection of Mr. & Mrs. Edwin L. Cox. Julia graduated with B.A.’s in Art History and Anthropology from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., and went on to receive her Master’s degree in History of Art at the Courtauld Institute of Art in London.

    Allison Cox is an associate specialist in English Furniture and Decorative Arts in New York. She holds a bachelor’s degree with honors in History from the Johns Hopkins University where she concentrated on social and cultural histories, as well as material culture studies. She received her master’s degree with distinction in Museum & Artifact Studies from Durham University in the United Kingdom. Prior to joining Christie’s, she was with another international auction house in New York. She is also a member of the Furniture History Society and the Georgian Group.

    Victoire Gineste began her career at Christie’s in 2011 in the EAV department (Estates, Appraisals & Valuations). Working on a wide range of collections (Hubert de Givenchy, Matisse-Monnier, etc.), she developed a deliberately broad, non-specialist profile. In 2018, her experience in designing tailor-made sales strategies and her reputation with clients and advisers, led her to the become head of the department. In 2022, she is appointed Director of Business Development. In her new role she promotes the value of art to a broad and diverse range of market players (legal and family offices, banks, etc.). As Vice President of Christie’s France since 2023, Victoire contributes to the group’s international strategy. She is one of the company’s leading ambassadors in France. In 2024, she joined the Franco-British Young Leaders Programme, launched in 2017 by The Prince and Princess of Wales which includes individuals with distinguished careers in a wide range of sectors.
    As an auctioneer, Victoire has led world-class auctions, such as the rediscovery of a drawing by Michelangelo. She is involved in professional bodies (CVV, France’s governing body for auctions, 2018-2020) and teaches young auction professionals.
    
    Victoire Gineste débute son parcours en 2011 chez Christie’s au service des inventaires et évaluations. En 2018, forte de son expérience en matière de stratégies de vente et de sa réputation auprès des clients et des prescripteurs, Victoire prend la direction des inventaires. Directrice Business developement depuis 2022, elle défend la valeur patrimoniale de l’art auprès des acteurs institutionnels du marché (notaires, familly offices, banques, etc.). Vice-présidente de Christie’s France depuis 2023, Victoire collabore à la stratégie internationale du groupe dont elle est l’une des ambassadrices privilégiées pour la France.
