Orientalist Art

Works by artists such as Jean-Léon Gérôme, Gustav Bauernfeind and Eugène Delacroix, John Frederick Lewis and Ludwig Deutsch capture a uniquely European view of the East — from Cairo to Constantinople — that increasingly attract a wide audience of collectors from emerging markets, demonstrating the timeless appeal of this aesthetic.
